History and Business Profile

Madhuri Exports Ltd, was incorporated in the year 1991 as a Private limited Company and the Company was converted into public limited Company w.e.f.1st December, 2025. The Company is in the business of Textiles products since its inception and had started with 100% Export Oriented units supplying high fashion woven silk fabrics, Boucle’s to some of the best known garments manufacturers/ brands like Maggy London, Anne Klien, Adriana Papell, Anna Sui, Bahari Group, Calvin Klien, Donna Morgan, Cynthia Steffe, Ellen Tracy, Jones Apparel Group, Nanette Lapore, Jessica Howard and others.
Post 2008, the Company ventured into silk and wool scarves and made a name for ourselves selling novelty scarves to many European & American Companies like Bimba Lola, Carolina Herrera, El Corte Ingles, Induyco SA and others. The Company started manufacturing Silk Sarees and Woven Fabrics for the domestic market in 2011 with great success. The Company is one of the best producer of hand woven and hand crafted sarees and fabrics among other products. The Company is one of the premiere suppliers of Taniera (Premier Apparel Brand of Titan Co Ltd . A Tata Group owned Company) in eastern India and also sell sarees and fabrics to stores all over the country. The Company has received certificate of appreciation from Titan and has established long term agreement with them for catering of the products uninterruptedly in future.

The Company has manufacturing facilities at Bhagalpur, a quaint town in Bihar, where the Company facilitates weaving of all kinds of natural fabrics and sarees, starting from silk Tassars, Matka, Ghichha, Katia, Moonga, Spun silk to organic cottons, linens, micromodal, tensel and their various blends, etc.
The Company has also processing, dyeing, finishing and printing unit at Serampore, another old world charm city on the out skirts of Kolkata in West Bengal. The Company posses skilled work force who ensure production of high quality dyed and processed fabrics. The Company has in house facilities to do screen, block and digital prints and keep developing new designs and techniques all year round.

As a part of research and development, the designers strive to create unique print designs and styles and offer whole gamut of print variations there is to offer. Kolkata being the hub of hand embroideries, the Company also ventured into production of all kinds of embroideries, aari, kantha, zardozi, applique , manual machines & digital embroideries. Carefully chosen skilled karigars helps the Company in making very intricate and novel designs.
The Company has grown from its humble beginnings with a small office at Bhagalpur to 5 units at present. The Company now posses a sprawling 15,000 sq. ft. corporate head office in the heart of business of Kolkata city. As strategic uninterrupted supply to the consumers, the Company maintains stock of 25-30,000 sarees and 1,00,000 meters of fabrics at any given point of time. The company employs over 50 people directly and over 500 indirectly for its operations at all units.
The moto of the Company is to provide quality products at reasonable prices to the customers and strive to contribute to keep India’s rich textile heritage and skilled workforce as priority.
To diversify the business activities, the Company has now forayed into Knitted Hosiery Fabrics and 100% Hosiery Cotton Yarns also. We have just started production of knitted hosiery fabrics and hope to increase our capacity and product range in this field in the coming years.

Vision

The Promoters, with long term perspective looking forward –
i. Set up an integrated production unit to weave best quality rapier looms with electronic jacquard attachments ;
ii. Set us dyeing plant with jigger and soft flow machines for dyeing at controlled temperatures ensuring the fabrics meet all kinds of quality parameters ;
iii. to set us a stitching unit for making hosiery garments (t-shirts and other knit garments) and foray into exports of these products.
iv. Plan to install digital printing machines along with padding machines and processing machines for error free printing ; and
v. Installation of digital embroidery machines which can complete the entire value addition chain on the final product. It will ensure integrated manufacturing facilities under one roof, thereby improving the quality control and improving costings. This will also be one of a kind factory with all textile processes under one roof.
